An Architectural Accomplishment:
The Dogpound Gym
In Architectural Digest

The Dogpound’s 1 Renwick location, designed by the incredible Fabien Baron, has caught the attention of Architectural Digest this past month and was featured under their Culture + Lifestyle page. Describing the space as “tough yet sleek,” the article delves into some of the reasoning behind the black walls and smoked mirrors. “With that lighting, the normal mirror will look too contrasty and harsh, and people won’t like looking at themselves,” explains Baron. “If a mirror is smoked, everyone feels like they look tan, and they see more silhouette, not details.” The intimidating look, both raw and classy, is definitely on brand with “a look of raw beauty” the article states. High praise from a prestigious magazine, and definitely in line with what the Dogpound hopes to accomplish for all of our clientele.
